Celia is friends with all of the other witches since she’s met them all at the England witches parties and meetings. She lives with her aunt Penelope who is a mother figure for her. And she also lives with her other aunt Elizabeth her daughter Mindy-Lou (her cousin) in a small village on the outskirts of London. She feels she doesn’t have time for a boyfriend because she’s too busy working on potions and spells and her plans to end all children. Her best friend is her cousin Mindy/Lou who is her age and lives with her.

Ethnicity  & cultural background – (class, education, where they were brought up) -

Celia was born in Newcastle but after her mother and father died in a fire after being caught for being witches, Celia was sent to London to live with her two aunts ( mama side) and cousin who is the same age as her. They didn’t have a lot money so lived in a small cottage and went to public school. She didn’t really learn at school and instead got taught lots of witch magic by hard family.

Their general history –( what time have they been brought up in)

Celia was brought up in the 90’s mainly. She was born in 1984 however she doesn’t remember much of her life in the eighties because she was so young. She’s still only young going into the 2000’s so she’ll get to grow up in the girl power era.

Personal history – (significant events in the character’s life their personal ‘backstory’

Celia lost her parents when she was one years old. They both died after being captured and set on fire. Celia was sent to live with her aunts in London who she loves very deeply. Of course she misses her parents but she’s treat so well and is so happy where she lives now anyway. Her parents being killed for being witches is a spark that ignited her love for getting rid of children. A big reason she does it is because she knows it’s hurting the ordinary people like they hurt her.

Celia Frog-bopper is a seventeen year old witch. She was born in Newcastle in 1984 but had to live with her aunt Penelope and aunt Elizabeth and her child Mindy from 1985, after her parents were brutally murdered by ordinary people who found out her parents were witches. They tied them to a wooden pole and set them in fire, leaving Celia an orphan. This led Celia to hate ordinary people. However, she never shows any hate towards them, In fact she’s overly nice to the grown ups. She gets them back by getting rid of their children, the disgusting creatures that they love the most. Celia has dedicated her whole life to creating potions and spells she and the other witches could use to get rid of the kids. Celia Frog-bopper is the youngest witch to ever make a potion that can make something shape-shift. She made the frog bopper potion that is meant to turn children into frogs however, with the knowledge she can only turn mice into frogs. It is still an incredible thing that she can do that because some adult witches are incapable of making successful potions. Celia was born into the potion/spell life. Her family is very knowledgeable with potions and they’re all extremely talented and passionate about them. In young Celia’s family they all get different names on the first successful potion they have created it’s a fun family tradition. Before they create a second name they all use ‘Potio’ which is the Latin translation for Potion. Celia is a massive fan of the grand high witch. She knows that the ghw is the most powerful potion maker there ever was and she looks up to her the most. She dreams of working alongside or for her in the future. She wants the ghw to be proud of her because it means so much coming from the best. Celia has so much potential.
