                    Filming ‘Jessie’s Flying’ 

Freya (Tv and film student) was making a short movie called ‘Jessie’s Flying’. I auditioned and got the role of Jessie who is an air hostess who has to deal with lots of irritating passengers. Jessie breaks the fourth wall and talks to the camera to explain what’s going on. We met on Friday at 9:30 am and started filming at 10:30am. We got a call sheet that said which scenes we had to do. Then we went to the Aviation class room where there’s an aeroplane set up that we were allowed to film in. We were supposed to be filming till 3pm but we got it all done three hours early because we only had to shoot each shot roughly twice. I had to borrow a blue blazer and scarf from the costume cupboard so I could look like an air hostess. Everyone came already knowing their lines so all we had to do was block scenes and shoot them. One person didn’t manage to get in in time so Freya had to write them out of the script. Casey helped Freya and filmed for her and Freya was the director editor and editor. I really loved filming this. I feel like my confidence in acting is growing rapidly. I can’t wait to see the final product.
